This is great for breakfast

“Terbiye” is the process of combining the water and yoghurt mix. It translates to “manners” - you are attempting to discipline the yoghurt mix

ingredients

1 x cup white rice (medium grain)

1 x cup of water

3 x cups of natural yoghurt

2 tbspn x flour

2 x egg

50 g x butter

4 tbsp x dried mint!

~ chilli works well with this

method

- overcook the rice until it completely falls apart

- mix yoghurt / egg / flour

*TERBIYE! ~ Turkish for 'manners'... mix some of the rice water into the yoghurt / egg / flour so the temperature comes up, so that the yoghurt doesn't curdle when you mix it in slowly...

- sautee mint in the butter, for 30 secs

- mix this into the saucepan

- DONE!
